What is it?

In both small and large spaces, maintaining a constant temperature and air circulation is essential to ensure adequate comfort. In situations where it is necessary to cool very hot environments, or where the ductwork is exposed to extreme conditions (e.g., hot air currents from kitchens, ovens, etc.), the risk of condensation forming on the surface of the ducts is very high, particularly during the startup phase.

Additionally, there are cases where, due to aesthetic or structural requirements, the duct cannot be dimensioned correctly, leading to the formation of condensation.

Traditional ducts can be insulated to resolve condensation issues; however, this solution is not applicable to micro-perforated ducts due to their "perforated" design, which is incompatible with conventional insulation systems.

Micro-perforated ducts are usually designed with anti-condensation perforations, which are effective in most systems. However, this solution does not resolve all situations, particularly in critical scenarios where traditional anti-condensation perforations on micro-perforated ducts prove insufficient.

To address these challenges, Mix Air has developed the Mix Air-NO TEARS line of micro-perforated ducts featuring a special invisible anti-condensation treatment.

The NO TEARS anti-condensation system is an innovative solution in the field of micro-perforated ducts.

It involves a special anti-condensation treatment that does not alter the duct's appearance while preventing the formation of surface condensation, even under extreme conditions.
